About Us

The Cajun Village offers sincere hospitality

that is so common to Louisiana’s “Plantation Country”.

Visitors are welcome to stroll the grounds, ripe with an abundance of rich Louisiana foliage, while they listen to Cajun music being played throughout.

Our tractor barn captures the fascination of young and old alike.  Tractors, tools and farm implements are just waiting to be rediscovered.

You can walk along a wooden pathway, beside a natural Louisiana swamp area, to see our 2 live alligators affectionately named “ Nubby” and “Big Boy” in our alligator pond.

Come discover how “Nubby” got her name,
and why “Big Boy” is called Big.

Everyone will love exploring each building, housing unique and different specialty shops that are sure to please and keep you coming back.

If your interests are antiques and collectibles, then you’ll want to visit Cajun Village Antiques.  At Louisiana Pottery, you’ll find beautiful handmade pottery created by talented Louisiana artisans.

Village Gifts and Décor is a one stop shop for Fleur-de-lis home décor and accessories.

If you’re a souvenir junkie, The Cajun Shop, with any and all things Louisiana, is an adventure waiting to happen.   They even have LSU stuff.  There is even an on-site candle factory, called Boniblu Candles.  You can’t miss it, just follow your nose. The aroma is out of this world. From Casa de Sue Winery, comes Louisiana Wines, made from grapes grown right here in Louisiana. They are the only off-site wine tasting room in Louisiana.

The Cajun Village is all these things and so much more!  Each shop is independently owned and operated, so you will discover the various tastes and talents of the many individuals happy to serve you.  Drop by today.

You’ll be so glad you did !
